Re-radiation Studies re: AM Station Projects
Evans Associates has conducted numerous studies to determine if the radiation pattern of an AM broadcast facility has been affected by the construction or alteration of a nearby PCS/Cellular communication tower. Our experienced field technicians obtain field intensity measurements on the nearby AM station before and after the construction or alteration is completed. An engineering analysis is then conducted to determine whether or not detuning the tower is necessary to restore compliance with FCC Rules. If detuning is indicated, a detuning skirt is added to the tower, or an existing skirt is re-configured and adjusted.
