Planning New K-12/College Networks:

Evans Associates designed the first K-12 two-way, interactive video distance education system in Wisconsin: Project Circuit, a network of eight rural K-12 districts near Eau Claire, is based on microwave and cable television technology and has allowed the small rural schools to provide students with an expanded curriculum since network turn-on in 1979. In 1995, Evans provided new consultation to Project Circuit on how the network can be expanded and updated. Evans has continued to work with many K-12 groups. Evans continues to work with a wide range of school districts, school consortia, and colleges/universities. Our work has included needs assessment, network design, RFP creation & evaluation, contract negotiation with vendors, and ongoing network installation monitoring.
