Wide Area Networking: Library Automation

Evans Associates has conducted numerous feasibility studies for both public and private libraries, as well as library consortiums in Maryland, Mississippi, West Virginia and other states. Typically, our library enterprise projects encompass twenty to 125 separate locations. Evans evaluates the telecom alternatives and costs associated with implementing networking models to service library applications, such as inter-library loans and Internet access.

For the Mississippi Library Commission and the Wisconsin Eastern Shore Library Association, Evans evaluated network alternatives for adding a distance education component to the library network.
